Saw a Lot of Positives in the Baseball Game Tonight

1) Coleman looked very good. As did Hurd. If they can keep it going then huge pieces of the pitching puzzle are solved.
2) Playing small ball when we need to. Crews taking 3rd on White's single made the difference in putting a run on the board as did Beloso's bunt. That was all a thing of beauty.
3) Getting Kling back. Dunno if he's 100%. Still feel like he's getting his sea legs in SEC ball. But good to see him back.

Also props to Blake Money. 3 outs on 11 pitches in the Top 7th with LSU leading 8-7.

Go look at other teams pitching this “bullpen” has won every game and we have the lowest ERA after 7 innings in the SEC... sooo just stop with that narrative

Some of you need to look at other game scores and stats. LSU is not the only good team in the country that has pitching challenges. Everything with LSU is amplified because it's the team you follow. Step out of your bubble a bit and relax.

I felt as if CJJ gave every relief pitcher an opportunity to drop his respective nuts on the table to show that he is “THAT GUY” during a conference home game.
I liked the quick hook when the game was in doubt while saving arms for tomorrow’s game knowing the bullpen will be utilized. It is time we see the cream of the crop step up and deliver.

the slumping and very average looking Tigers havent dropped a single series this year and are on a 6 game winning streak in SEC play.
meanwhile here’s how all your world beaters have fared in SEC play:
Arkansas swept by Georgia
Tennessee swept by Missouri
Florida swept by USCe
Vandy swept by UTk
USCe on verge of being swept by Auburn
UK on verge of being swept by Vandy
Bottom line LSU has the hitting to overcome and will never out of a game. Just admit y’all don’t watch anyone outside of LSU play!
