What’s the word on the weather for Saturday?

I"m incapable of looking up the weather on my computer or phone, and i also can't call 985-446-8181 in Thibodaux so they can give me the weather over the phone, so I can't give you the word on it.

What kind of stupid arse thread is this? Are you seriously incapable of looking up the weather yourself?
Are you expecting someone here to know more than whatever the app on your phone will tell you?

those weather sites can give your computer aids, so it can be nice to not go to them...plus, some people have access to paid weather info that is more advanced than the standard weather channel info.

Reminds me of a cold and rainy day when Johnny Football came to town. Tiger Stadium showed up and the Tigers shut him down!

Latest model from Ch. 10 in Lafayette has a strong line coming in at lunch time (12:00 PM) then another strong line coming in about 9 PM. Light rain, off and on, between the two strong lines. What a mess.

I don't know the outcome of the game, but my prediction is a big lighting delay around halftime. Too bad this game can't move to 4;30 or 5:00.

I wish someone would create an app that has the weather forecast...

Caribbean cruisers… you definitely want to check ahead on your plans. Melissa looks like it’ll be a slow moving, and very potent hurricane. The entire Caribbean will have rough seas, and some places will obviously not be navigable. This storm should start moving northeast at the beginning of next week, but there could be impacts on some cruise stops, especially in Jamaica. I’ll update things a little later this afternoon on the weekend rain. One encouraging thing I’ll say is that I think the LSU game will stay pretty dry. They are far enough southeast to avoid the heavy stuff during the game. I’ll talk about that, and the timing of our storms in my next update.

Kelly wants a lighting delay to cancel the game. He doesn’t want “another loss” press conference .

Updated GFS model run has rain east of Baton Rouge at 7:00pm Saturday. That was not the case on yesterday’s run.

I’m confused why people don’t take three seconds and do the research on most things they ask here?.!

Weather in Baton Rouge? Really.

That's the first line of storms that should hit about 12 PM. However, the 2nd line that was supposed to hit at 9 PM looks like it is breaking up and won't hit BR until the early morning of Sunday.

So, things are looking a lot better.
