Sam Nader's ESPN article from last year LINK
I am sure he had what would be a dream job for any of us

My college girlfriend worked for Sam Nader in the 90’s. I wasn’t crazy about her job at first because you’d hear rumors and stories about some of the coeds that worked in the Athletic Department. Some were whores, some dealt with harassment.
Coach Sam was a great boss to her and the perfect gentleman. He not only looked after her, but a lot of the other girls that passed through the football ops during her time working there.
I met him a handful of times back then, and he was always super nice, upbeat, and smiling. He’s done so much for LSU over the years, but I’ll always be thankful for putting my immature and jealous 20 year old mind at ease, and looking after my girlfriend at the time.

Always seemed like a nice guy at the camps.
Always felt bad for him when everyone would talk shite to him non-stop

Not sure all know just how much this man has done for the Tigers. He is one of a kind that can never be replaced. He was the rudder that steered this program in the right direction in many tough times.
He was & is to this day, a mentor & confidant of so many former players & coaches.I am proud to have had the experience of knowing him, if but for a short period.
If anyone ever deserved a statue at Tiger Stadium it is Sam Nader.

My favorite Nader story is how he stuck with Chad Lavalais despite him failing to qualify academically. The rest is history.

Hayden Fry's 1983 staff was arguably the greatest collection of coaching talent in the history of the game, a group that would go on to win a staggering 722 games as head coaches, including 32 bowl wins, 9 BCS bowl wins, 35 top 25 finishes (and 22 in the top 10), and 15 major conference titles. That's not including Fry's successes.
