I watched some of the Tech game and also highlights from the UGA game last year. Ehlingers feet have me worried more than anything else. I hope we can contain him and not let him make the big plays with his feet.

The first thing i thought of was Fitzgerald in 2017, we let him make some big plays with his feet that lead to some big plays.

He is a tough competitor. He pretty much owned the Sugar bowl against a UGA team that didn't care. I think he's going to be a problem.

Lamar Jackson’s feet worried me more and we see how that went.

He's a quality QB and seems to be pretty tough. Let's see how he reacts after he gets smacked in the mouth a few times by big, fast, mean men.

He is quick and I realize he didn’t need to rush much last week, but he only rushed for around 30 yards against La Tech. I think Aranda will be able to contain him.

Yes he's a hell of a player, but he's about to face the best defense he will ever play against in college.

I am worried about him. He is going to get an arse whipping of monumental proportions.

No. He will not beat us by himself. If Texas wins, it will be from a stupid mistake by one of our defensive backs or maybe a turnover on offense.

I hope he runs the ball so our defense can pound on him for the first half. I can easily see him getting a big run, maybe even one for a TD, early in the game. He might have 8-10 rushes for 75-85 yards in the first half. But he will take a beating doing so and won't be very effective running in the second half.

His numbers should end up 13-32, 190 yards, 1 TD and 18 rushes for 90 yards, 2 TD

That is just my two cents

Good player but I don’t think his supporting cast is good enough yet.

watching last years sugar bowl i thought Georgia struggled with UT's size. big receivers blocking db's out and ehlinger seeminly always falling forward to move the sticks. thats the main thing that makes me nervous for this matchup: Texas using bigger sets and forcing dbs to make tackles on ehlinger and whatever RB's they can scrap up. Lil Jordan Humphrey unwisely going to the draft last year does seeem to help a bit on the back end, although they do still have collin johnson and several wr's over 6-0 that could cause some issues

so the answer is yes

Of course.

He's the kind of talent who can win a game on his own. I think LSU is the better team, but Ehlinger has the kind of talent to have one of "those games" and win it for the home team. The key will be to keep him from getting into a rhythm.

No. Their run game will be entirely reliant on him and he just isn’t as accurate throwing the ball as Texas fans claim.

NO. After this weekend everyone will see and understand that this guy is an average QB that plays in a shitty pass happy league where no one knows how to form tackle in open field.

Of course I'm worried about him.

He's a top tier college QB with damn good wide receivers to throw it too. That can beat anyone.

I think we'll be ready for him though.

Yes. Herman knows how to use him.

I know we are all confident in our front 7, but that dude is a bitch to tackle and he falls forward. If our linebackers have to constantly cheat up to keep him from getting 3-4 yards a run then he can beat us.

This is not like Lamar Jackson trying to outrun us. Different deal more like Tebow but with a better arm. Puts a strain on the entire defense.

I’m glad we have the DBs to put on an island because they will need to bring their A game. Front 7 needs to stop the qb run first and that typically means less of a pass rush.
