It pisses off the extremely insecure.

So why do you care?

Who said I cared about the nickname?

I care more about the whining and the starting of 8 threads on the topics by posters pleading/begging it's funny, not racist, etc.

We don't need 8 threads , that's all...

I love that we can make fun and not make it about being racist like the good ol days.

It’s all fun. In the end, his nickname will not be based on his skin color. He just happens to have made plays very similar to TM7.

100% this. If you can’t see the double standard here you are an idiot.

Yeah "its cute". Yall love his new nickname. I bet you guys all pulled out yalls favorite sock and used it.

This guy can't even lift his dick up to pee cause every one here is on it

Bro, let me let you in on a little secret. He is expected as well as the rest of the defense to be good at what they do. This is not something new bros. This is supposed to be routine play on defense.

It’s a derogatory term for white people from the 70s. I am a white male who was alive in 70s and not offended then and not now. I always thought it was funny. Plus I don't think we are even allowed to be offended. Enough libtard bullshite, grow a pair already.

The Rant Strikes again and named the Honey Badger and know the Honkey Badger. Someone patent that name for weeks and print the Tshirts. We need them before the Bama game.

A lot of Jayden Daniels haters are pissed off about this name.

Who could have seen that coming?

If folks knew the history of how the name came about, it's really not offensive.

Dude I just think that’s is a dumb name and weeks deserves his own nickname not a derivative one.
No conspiracy or larger agenda.

I know we’re not in a spelling bee, but I thought it was spelled Honky, not Honkey.

I can't wait for the faux uproar after an announcer says it for the first time in a broadcast.

In today's world you'll never hear this outside of here and the players saying it as a term of endearment to him. Same way they call each other the N word but obviously you'll never hear it over the airways.

Najee Harris just said it in his post game press conference then had an oh shite I can't say that on air moment right after

I'll be listening for some Honkey Badger chanting from the student section on Saturday. Guys, don't disappoint me.

Look at urban dictionary and both honky and honkey are both acceptable. Cracker

reductive

You seriously think a nickname given to a football player as a compliment can be reductive?

It’s just dumb and unoriginal. Let him have his own nickname , not a play on someone else’s. Stop trying to shame people who don’t agree with you, Weeks is a friggin BALLER and deserves his own nickname. Love that guy.
