i think with all the returning talent that we have in the secondary people are forgetting about Todd Harris. i believe Harris return is huge for us and he will be a big boost for the team. The thing to remember about Todd is that he was a starter a year ago, so his return should pay big dividends. When you think about Vincent, Hampton, and Harris that's a lot talent at safety with game experience.

The secondary has some serious talent. O had nothing but great things to say about Harris as a player and a person. It will be good to have him back.

It was terrible what happened to him. I hope he's recovered and ready to lead. His injury really left a hole in the defense that Aranda had a hard time filling until late in the season.

Yeah, he will be a good back up, but think it will take 2 years to trust that knee to be the kind of player we need...Having him back is good for depth, though

You're selling him short. He's on pace to be fully recovered.

Gonna be a lot of 3 safety sets most likely

Hampton is too good to keep off the field

I know this the time of year where you can’t speak negative of no one and we’re supposed to say someone is going to be good, but Todd Harris was really bad last year before he got hurt, I hope he’s improved

The lack of a pass rush and unwillingness to call a blitz is what led to that.

No he wasn't. Todd is a very good safety and I trust the coaches who had him starting against Georgia Southern. He didn't get the opportunity to improve on the year like all the other guys who got better because of a knee injury.

I know the coaches and players speak highly of him and says he's a good player. I'm sorry his season was cut to short because of injury, but the few highlights that ive seen in those couple games was not impressive. He was either getting burned, and was overly aggressive in coverage which resulted in a few pass interference calls against him. All those are mistakes that he can most definitely learn from, I trust that coach Bill Busch will get that corrected and bring the beast out of him.

Yeah, our whole defense sucked that game. We gave up 400 yards passing.

Harris had just about our only highlight in the 2018 Bama game on his first play of the game by giving Tua his first INT of the year (it was a damn good catch too). He also was blanketing the CFU WR at the end of the Fiesta Bowl and tipped the ball that was intercepted by Stevens which ended the game.

depends on if his knee is fully recovered. If it is recovered then he is most likely one of the starters at safety.

He seemed like a bit of a liability last year.

I’d love to see Hampton take over the true centerfield FS with Stevens continuing to be a box SS

Is Vincent still considered a safety? Seems like he would be the starting slot corner.

Will be interesting to see how they work in Ricks - does he pass up Ward/Raydar with limited practice?

Our D will be sick next year! Much better than 2019 but the secondary is going to be ridiculously dangerous
