Nick Saban only had one season where he didnt lose more than one game, but hey Nick saban did much better at LSU than les miles

I think you miss the point. It's what Saban has done at Alabama that people look at. Not what he did when he was here. They think he "could have" duplicated that success here if he stayed. Looking to what would have been his future not his past.

Here are my dad's complaints.

Isn't fiery
Doesn't get the team inspired
Team is undisciplined
Doesn't appear to know what he is doing on the sidelines during the game

He has a man crush on Saban

I agree, Lsu is gonna play hell beating Bama consistently as long as nick sticks around. Other than the field goal debacle last year, Nick has shown to be able to consistently out coach ole Lester

Legitimately 3-3 vs Jesus is hardly constantly being out coached. I would say the opposite happened this year since Lsu was down 8 key starters. Kindly go frick yourself then kill yourself

We've played hell beating them consistently regardless of who their coach is.

"Let the OC make the decisions". Do you honestly think ANY OC would have gone for it 5 times, in the 4th quarter, down by 3 pts, like CLM did? Using Jacob Hester to beat Urban? Do you recall what the players said they loved best bout CLM after that game? That he had enough faith in them to make those calls & go for the win. NO OC in the SEC makes those calls under that circumstance. And that game goes down as one of the greatest games in TS history.

You've got to go back pretty far to find something good ehh? How about all the times in the last two years when he went for field goals when we were begging him to go for it on fourth? Do you think any OC would have gone for the fake field goal? Etc. etc. etc. As many times as you can tell me when we had brilliant calls and gambles paid off, I can tell you others that he didn't gamble when he should have and failed. His play calling the last two years prior to the Alabama game were extremely conservative and then the gambles he took weren't good ones.
