Obviously, the voters are "they". The logic and arguments that kept out michigan and georgia were not used this year. I'm sorry if you cant undertand this, but like i said before, you are stupid even for a gump. Bama got a handout. Congrats for making the most of it. Its only a shame lsu doesnt get a mulligan.

During the game I asked my girlfriend to call the New Orleans police department and file a complaint against Jefferson. Maybe another arrest would have helped Lee get into the game. What a joke Jefferson has been with the Tigers. Fire Miles know or lose our program.

The trouble is, Miles either did what he did on purpose, or he was too stupid to do otherwise. Either way, he should be gone.

LOL.

No. Saban lost the biggest game of the season for Bama on November 5th.

ESPN and the media granted the Great Saban a mulligan. They made the most of it.

Will LSU get a mulligan? No. LSU will ALWAYS get the middle finger to the face from the media.

Know your place as an LSU fan and deal with it like an adult.

NOBODY QUIT! Period. Hell...did you see Jefferson put the kabash on that dude when he got intercepted! If they had quit...the score would have been 40 zip.

Miles basked in the limelight with his folksy style, eating grass and what not, instead of getting his arse to work in creating the kinds of original plays that Saban hit us with. Virtually indefensible...for 4 and 5 yard gains...designed to move the sticks.

And a defensive scheme designed to bring it up front...negating the option, the run, and forcing JJ to have to throw under extreme duress.

Miles was OUTCOACHED...pure and simple. He said as much "I didn't see this coming". Shame on him...he blew it...he didn't earn the money we pay him...and he STAINED his own resume and broke the hearts and aspirations of what could have been an HISTORICAL season for LSU football...fans and players. That is what I call an ASSKICKIN!

Nick Saban is BUSINESS. From now on...when we go up against that man and his well coached team (not a single f'n penalty, until the game was practically over)...you don't march in there with a folksy smile on your face...you go in there with an ORIGINAL GAMEPLAN. Or you get you head mounted on his wall.

Screw this shite. Mett had better get serious...we want PAYBACK. Rivers, Kiel, whomever had better understand just what this loss has done to Tiger Nation...and act accordingly. Miles too. We've lost our virginity...in the back seat; and things won't be the same. The war is on!

That said...congrats to Bama for a deserved win!

Another thing LSU fans need to put their big boy undies on and deal with.

Even if LSU wins in November 2012, it is IRRELEVANT.

Bama will claim the win anyway, the national media will back it, and LSU will once again play second fiddle no matter what.

Again, Saban "blew" the biggest game of the season for Bama on Nov 5th. Remember "The Game of the Century" where Miles outcoached Saban in his back yard? I do.

You people are pathetic. Get over it.

Lsu quit in the NC game because weren't properly coached if they were coached at all. U would think in 40 days to get ready, Miles would have some idea. We have to move on but I wish Les wasn't so pig headed!

I don't know what that means, E; if we beat em...we win. Screw the media.

And Saban probably does figure that he "blew" it; that's why the man came in with both barrells blazing. But that game was pretty much a draw; only that their field goal kicker choacked; and when it went overtime...they freaked out like deer in the headlights. And lost. But Miles sure as hell didn't 'outcoach' anybody. Just did his job.

When if comes to the NC...you bring your best or you lose. Saban brought it...Miles didn't. Jefferson's inability - as opposed to McCarron's fine play - nws. End of story.

I'm an old man...and I'd put a frickin headgear on and commit hari kari just to stick it their arse next year.

What did we win Nov. 5th? We literally won the right to rematch a team we already beat, under a system where "Every Game Counts". Supposedly.

I agree, but ESPN controls college football now. Welcome back to the stone age where the traditiona powers/entitled/media darlings will have the unwritten rules bent in their favor every year.

2003 - You must win your Con Champ to be a legit champ, therefore we have a split for darling USC

2011 - We need the ratings so Bama gets in the game. No split even though LSU played the toughest slate in CFB history and beat this team in their back yard.

Just two blatant examples of where we are today.

Yeah, we all say this now. That's not what was said Nov. 6th after Saban called a WR Reverse/Pass that was picked at the one yard line.

Well, according to this logic, aren't we fortunate as a program to have won 24 games the past two seasons with this abortion at QB? I think so.

And like we've done the past decade plus, we will beat them. I know we will. It will only be relevant if ESPN allows it. That's life now. LSU fans need to deal with this.

I agree the NC was an embarassment, but if your not old enough to remember Curley Hallman, you need to look at the early 90's. LSU was on par with this years Ole Miss team or Kentucky team. The vast majority of LA 4 and 5 star recruits were being plucked by Nebraska, Florida St, and Tennessee. Miles biggest feck up was a few years ago when he didn't have a better back up plan for Perilloux. That and Crowton's lack of QB development is what has screwed us. Miles starting correcting that with Mett and now Kiel. He should of put in Lee, but apparently Lee burned that bridge with an academic feck up. We'll be preseason top three and the program is stronger than it has ever been in the past. If you can't handle it then go root for the gumps. Otherwise, let it go and move on. Geaux Tigers

Not on Nov. 5th. On that day, that game counted because it was thought and assumed by everyone, including Alabama, that the loser would be out of contention for the BCSNG. On that day: Mile > Saban when it counts!!

Les made himself look rediculous by letting his hardheadedness keep us from having any chance to win a MNC.

This is not about Saban, other than he was the opponent. This is about Les either not understanding what needed to be done or being completely unwilling to do it. Take your pick - either way its bad.

This is the smartest comment I have read on here so far.

Seriously, do these fans want us to go back to the DiNardo years? Miles did something that had never been done this year and then got outcoached in the BCSNCG. Still it was a damn good season.

People need to grow up and quit acting like such women.

The insanity of some of these tiger fans is hilarious.

I am convinced Urban Meyer got sick and left Florida due to saban. Saban casts spells on many in the football world. Urban is scared of saban. All of a sudden he is well and runs to the easy big 10 conference.
