Saw this on fox sports this morning...

Article for Future Analysts after NFL career is over

It's nice to see a former Tiger get recognition.

He's great when he pops up on Damashek's podcast.

I watched some of his analysis, and he's pretty good.

He's been honing the craft for the last few years. He will def replace a few of the trials that did not work with the usual suspects/networks.....

Seems like Clark didn't get much love when he played for LSU. Anyone agree?

I feel he was overlooked and wasn't a "fan favorite".

He was pretty mouthy when he played at LSU. Did a lot of bravado talk, but his play backed it up. Always had an entertaining quote.

Clark has performed at a higher level as a pro than he did with LSU. He was a solid player at LSU, making All-SEC (second team) as a junior, but he was far from a standout.

Glad we had him and I am happy for his success.

I'd love to see/hear Clark on the tube or radio. He is better than a bunch of those other hacks (coughRayLewiscough)

Ryan Clark will be awesome. He is a great ambassador for LSU too. He is proof that if you work hard and are persistent you can make it. I want to say he was either a late round pick or a free agent when he originally came into the NFL.

lol not a standout?

didn't he lead the team in tackles?

I think there were some bad years, but he was a bright spot

What are you talking about? I am not talking about when he was at LSU. I am talking about when he entered the NFL. He wasn't a guy that was highly sought by NFL teams coming out of college. He was signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants coming out of college and was on the practice squad his first year. The guy worked hard and paid his dues and ended up being a standout pro-bowl caliber player.

It's hard to believe it's already been since '02 when he was a senior. Very interesting also with kids leaving early that he stayed for the full term, earned a free degree in Public Relations and now has the opportunity to continue one day in broadcasting.

Its something that other student athletes leaving early should realize (even though most are after money).

I know Kenny Hilliard feels the same way but it doesn't hurt he can compete for a lot more playing time having the seniority with McGee. Especially with him and McGee being the only returning backs with a lot of playing time. I know Fournette will get touches but Les loves the fact that he stayed.

He was very good at LSU. Always around the ball and you could tell he had NFL level athleticism.

Talked a lot of trash, but all good DBs talk shite.

When his team isn't playing espn always uses him. Will have an easy transition when he retires.
