Always wondered what could have been with the #1 overall QB recruit in the land that Les Miles transitioned into a WR.

I remember an interview, maybe Mathieu, when asked about Russell Shepard's passing accuracy and he alluded that RS couldnt hit a soccer net...

Would have been? He was basically snapped in half twice in his true FR season. Brutal hits, but he must have a high elasticity.

Yeah, he honestly should have never been listed as a QB by recruiting services, it gave our fans the completely wrong idea. He was a 5 star because he was an amazing athlete, not for his passing ability.

He didn't even throw that much in high school and had serviceable stats for that level.
