but if the thread is buried on page , ummm say 7, and the most current/active is always moved to the top of page 1 and order keeps shuffling, it is hard to tell(for some of us newbies) what has been covered. i have been guilty of "re-posting", but it was relevant and interesting to me and thought i would like to share.
so, please don't try to make "re-posters" feel like an idiot for following their emotions about wanting to support their team or anything else that compels them to post about a subject.
just my opinion, probably won't mean much to many.

actually Chicken could prevent all of this double posting by just providing stickies of important info and articles on the front page, but he wont' do it.
It's just like all of the bama threads, they all need to be banned from the Rant, but they won't keep up the site maintenance or the stickies to keep people from doing it. That's why you get all of these trash posts and double and repeat threads all over the place.

I think watching every post for duplicates would be an administrative nightmare. I agree with the other poster who said,"Just don't reply and let it fall." If someone is dong it on purpose, the lack of attention would solve the problem.

We will always have to deal with the kid that always took names while the teacher was out. Now they look for any opportunity to try and correct someone else.
Ignore their cries for attention, post what you feel needs to be posted, and if an admin has a problem with it, they can deal with it.
