Shepard doesnt know the plays as a WR (a much easier position) many times i have seen him looking clueless about what he is supposed to do.
if he cant learn the plays at WR, how can he learn QB?

He wasn't given a fair chance at QB. Hard to be a good QB when the coaches are shuffling you back and forth between three positions.
Would you please STFU with that bullshite? HE DIDN'T WANT TO PLAY QUARTERBACK AFTER HE GOT HIS SHOT! He knew he had too much work to do and decided to move to WR. I'm not defending Miles, trust me.

Your opinion is based on nothing.

It just so happened to come after he sat the bench the entire game. A game in which LSU scored 3 points. Right after the game he made the switch to WR and posted on his Facebook that he hoped he didn't just make the biggest mistake of his life. Yeah...sounds like he really wanted to move to WR.
You are reading way too much into that. He wasn't going to play QB because he wasn't ready and probably wouldn't be for a few years. He wanted to play earlier and made the switch, thinking he could help the team.

My opinion is based on the fact that it takes more than a few spring practices to grasp the QB position.

Link?
A lot of our players on offense look clueless about what they are supposed to do. See Jefferson Tennessee game.

You were one of the worst posters on the OT and I would rather you post there than the Rant.

He didn't get much of a shot. I thought we had been over this before.

He knew he had too much work to do to play QB? So moving to an entirely new position with no prior experience is an easier transition?
Sorry, not buying it.

So you're saying that he didn't have a grasp of the QB position? A few spring practices would have been 2 years.

No, I'm saying that it takes more than a few spring practices to learn an entirely new offensive system.

Just stop while you're behind. You are making up shite based on your assumptions.

I could easily ask you the same. He was a fricking quarterback. Now he has to do something he has never done before, and play a completely different position, in the SEC for that matter.
All this, with no QB to consistently get him the ball.

You are seriously clueless. You need to read more and post less.

Yeah, I'm clueless.
Meanwhile Shep will be a junior, and the only way our coaching staff has figured out how to get the ball to him is on a jet sweep.
No matter what myth you come up with, he was not given a shot to play QB. He saw the writing on the wall, and knew he had no shot to consistently play QB because Jordan Jefferson is Les Miles QB. While sitting on the bench for the UF game, watching Jordan Jefferson go 11/17 for 96 yards, zero TD's and one INT, and still not getting a shot, he then asked Miles to switch him.
I don't see it as Shep wanting to play WR. I look at it as Shep wanting to play anything period, and him feeling WR or special teams was his quickest shot.
Since you clearly have all the facts on this situation, I'll now sit back and read more involving this situation, and post less.

Yes, you are clueless if you think he could have come in and saved the day. He was not ready and he knew that. Give that shite up.

Pretty much what I've said. He would not have seen the field for a few years at QB, because he wasn't ready and he knew he wasn't ready.

BTW, I agree with that. They screwed up his redshirt year and couldn't figure out how to get him the ball this this year.

I wasn't saying he could have come in and saved the day. I'm saying he saw no move made at all with a QB who was that ineffective and therefore saw the writing on the wall.
Kind of hard to get ready to play QB when you are practicing one period with the QB's, one with the receivers, and one with the backs.
Sucks for him now, because we still have no way to consistently get him the ball to display his athletic ability.

You just don't get it. He knew that the QB who was ineffective was better than him at the time. My God, how do you people not understand this?????
