shep wanted the ball in his hands

he didn't want to be 3rd string QB and he knew the only way he was going to get on the field was at RB/WR

For you guys that think he can throw better than JJ & JL............you thought wrong.

I do think both JJ and JL can throw better. I do however think that Shep could throw well enough in our offense. On top of that, with him running the zone read, and all the other shite they run with JJ, he could be pretty damn good.

Not too hard to throw horizontally anyway.

Lulz. Why did he choose LSU over Texas again?

Because Texas, and everyone else that recruited him told him flat out he needed to move to receiver.

Les gave him the opportunity to play QB and he realized that Mack Brown was right afterall so he ASKED LM to go ahead and move him.

You do know he would not be a Tiger if LM hadn't given him that shot, correct?

Did you not know that it was his choice to move to receiver? He DID NOT want to play QB. I wish some of you people would understand that.

I'm a so-called Negatiger, but you appear to be just taking a stab at his coaches, on this?

RS throws a wobbler for a pass(I saw numerous practices w/GIC), was never gonna be a SEC QB, and never get to the 'next level' other than as a SE/WR, thus the move.

It has taken him some time to learn to move as a SE/WR, with the footwork, moves, positional savvy, learning to think like one, and is still working on the hands part, in order to be an NFL one.

There is nothing to apologize over, sans the coaching staff possibly under-utilizing his strengths to a better degree, and in recruiting better OL & QB talent prior to his arrival. Also, RS himself, needing catch everything thrown his way without the drops.

Two more years to develop for the NFL..that is plenty of collegiate career left.

Shep absolutely wanted to be the starting QB of the LSU football team

when he saw he wasn't going to get a chance to show what he could do in a game, and was on the bench for the 2009 florida game, he asked miles if he could do anything to get the ball in his hands.

which is where we are now.

I have no idea what you are talking about. He wanted to play QB, Les gave him the opportunity. It was his decision to switch positions because he was having a hard time with the QB position and thought he could better serve the team elsewhere.

You have no fricking idea what you're talking about. That is your opinion and it's wrong.

If he wanted a QB position that bad he would have transfered to juco then would be back to another d1 school next year at QB. So I'm guessing him at wr is more that he knows thats where he should be

Shep is probably staring vacantly into space in Baton Rouge today daydreaming of how he and Garrett Gilbert could be eating wings and watching ALL of those other teams play in bowl games.

Exactly. Transition from HS QB to college is huge and it overwhelmed him. He knew that he had too much work to do and probably wouldn't see any significant playing time for a few years.

Shep is not a QB because there isn't a coach on LSU staff that can teach him anything.

I can't argue with that.
