honestly I don't blame him one bit. His talent has gone to waste in this system. If I were him and I knew I was good and could be an asset to a team I would leave as well. Who cares if I am a 4th round pick. At least I'll be getting paid and hopefully playing in a system that actually uses me.

Les Miles let our inept quarterback situation ruin Shepard's college career. Shep could have been an impact player, but unfortunately, the only player that can have an impact in the crapfest that was our offense the last 3 years is a tailback.

If he does enter, I don't see how this is going to work out well for him. He better have one hell of a combine.

He should hang around and see if the new QB can throw the ball. If so, he could have a great senior year. If he wants to go pro that's fine. He has been marginally effective his entire career - a lot of it was due to the play calling and lack of quality starting QB who can throw the ball consistently well. If he wants to be a pro he can't fall down after catching the ball. He needs to learn to catch the ball and run with it.

Yea, 4th round isn't happening. But I really think he'll do great at the combine to where he is drafted.

I am convinced he could be a Taylor Martinez, Shoelace Robinson-type player. Maybe not as good as Shoelace, but easily as good as Martinez.

Sure I can see why one would opt for declaring early. But lets be honest, he was clearly getting surpassed by Beckham as the number two guy. I dont think he goes any higher than four, great athlete not so much football player
