I could have told you before the draft he wasnt getting drafted.
He was never playing qb in the nfl. NEVER. LSU gave him his best shot and the guy cant catch.
He is a good dude. LSU fans over hyped him, then turned on him when he didnt meet expectations.
Compare his qb stats with multiple other guys that played qb and changed positions at LSU. wasnt that great.
As a fan base we do this shite all the time.
Mettsiah ring a bell?
How many rbs do we have to go through to be the next collins or faulk? hill the best back in the sec? maybe, but stop crowning him as such. So if hes not, are we going to turn on him, cameron, or les?

Went from why recruit Jennings, Miles got his JJ, Rettig will be the star. now they want jennings over met. Jennings spring game stat line is similar to JJ's stat line. make some good plays here and there, nothing special.
No one wanted us to recruit a "dual threat" qb anymore. even though flynn was the best option qb ut of jmarc, rp and flynn.
People wanted bolden to play over mett. its fricking ridiculous. I cant say its a race thing, because it isnt. it is more coming from an idiot fanbase that didnt even like saban until he won in 03.
Its funny how one game changed this whole fanbase.

So true, but maybe im soo attached and live in BR i see it more.
At the same time, i dont see it at the level LSU fans do. even when i wasnt living here.

Not really. I mostly heard over and over from dumbasses that he was great and Miles didn't use him properly.
Other than people speaking honestly about his draft situation, I don't seem to recall much negative stuff directed toward him.
