Guys, not to take anything away from his football abilities, but just read this.....

I sure wish we hadn't recruited Vince Young as a WR. I wish we had a coach who was a better evaluator of OFFENSIVE talent at that point. Hopefully RR is thinking of this as well.

he's our Tebow.... just savor the time this young man is on campus, b/c there will never be a young man that plays for LSU that will have the same character, talent, and intelligence that he seems to have.

I agree that this says more about him than anything he could ever do on the football field. He will be a winner in what ever he chooses to do in life. I like to pull for kids like this to be successful.

I think we will have him for four years. He is the type of person that has his perspectives in order and would want to help this university win another championship if they haven't accomplished it before his senior year. He has showed us so far he will do everything it takes to keep LSU a national power.

i agree, that's why I don't understand why Tebow did not get the same respect from so many Tiger fans. Why on earth did we treat him the way we did. I regret that he didn't get the respect he desrved when he came to tiger stadium. I mean, wouldn't we have loved to have him on our team? Wasn't it just sour grapes?

I met the kid a few time this season; my tickets are just next to where recruits and their families sit. He as such a great kid to talk to; I thought he was must maybe on his good behavior while on visits, but apparently this is this is his everyday character. Kid's like this can do nothing but improve your entire program. Welcome to BR, Shep!

Before the season, a good friend of mine introduced me to Cypress Ridge Coach Gary Thiebaud. I did get to see Shep play 4 times this year. This kid will do great at LSU. Look for the Wiz to fit him in next year.
