Like maybe Oregon...what has their "high flying" offensive philosophy won for them. They lose every big game they play and have nothing at all to show for all their years of fancy play calling.

Exactly, we want to be like Oregon because people think a few more passes than 6 in the second half might have helped the offense that scored 7 points in the last 3 quarters of the game.

Mullins never said that. You're an idiot.

LSU ain't making the playoff if Brandon Harris only throws for 71 per game! That's a FACT!

Great stat! We had 200 more rushing yards than them. They had 11 more first downs, and missed a game winning fg to beat us. But, we out rushed them by 200.

And if LSU out rushes everyone by 200 yards, they will surely win it all...way to downplay what this team does best.

not if the other team can convert 1st downs with short passes, repeatedly. they dont need to run. New England did the same thing on Thurs night.

That's a LB issue.

Well Jennings averaged 123 per game last year and LSU finished 8-4. So I guess we'll see!

Answer the question

Over 200 per game. You want LSU to make the playoff Les Miles is gonna have to nut up and let Harris play! Let him make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, and pass the damn ball. The vanilla offense ain't gonna work against Alabama. They will also lose to A&M and Ole Miss with last's night offense. So to answer your question. Over 200 yds....plus Fornette and Williams rushing for 150 - 200.

Agreed. Pasha rush was ok, less than stellar outside of Key. Need more pressure so the WRs can't settle underneath all game. Which is what State ran all night

What about the passing yards total? Does that equate to playoffs too? Get a clue. Lsu will not make the playoffs if they aren't willing to attempt

This is a completely different team from last year. The OL is far better as is our defense, bit don't let facts get in the way

This D is sick good! Now if Miles will let the QB pass a little more when LSU gets into the trading punts series with the opposition then LSU can rest easier.

About 150 more yards called back

Dural's long TD was sprung by a blatant hold, I'll give them that one.

LSU's run defense was stellar. Defense was gassed at the end of the game though.

Ok, different team, but same offensive scheme, same ugly, squeak out a win! Same Miles offense. Different QB, but basically same style of play. LSU will end the season 8-4 again with that same crap offensive style. Doesn't matter that it's a new team....and it doesn't matter if the defense is better. They were drained out last night b/c the offense (just like last year) could not make sustainable drives. They were wore out!
