Everybody seems to be concerned about everything but where I feel we are the weakest in years, and that is running back. This should have never happened. You have to run the football to win in the SEC, and I don't see a stable of backs on the sports center highlight reel.

We are weakest at head coach and offensive coordinator

We just been blessed with All Universe RBs for the past few years. CEH will get the job done.

Are you saying you’re the only one concerned about the running game?

Relax buddy you’re not alone!

I was talking to people that watch most practices and it's a huge problem. We will be relying on very unproven backs

Yep and a mediocre Oline.

I still feel like Curry will emerge as the work horse. CEH should be productive as well.

Maybe we pass to set up the run?

I feel like CEH and Curry will be a major topic on this board on 9/3.

Agreed

Did anyone think that our backs were elite going into 2003, 2007, or 2011?

Those were undeniably our greatest years in recent memory and even those teams did not have backfields that compared to the Fournette/Guice duo. We had depth but we didn't have an outstanding back.

I doubt anyone.

Might be more of a committee deal.

Ummm... yes, yes, and yes.

I’m a CEH fan but also respect Murphy’s Law. If he or Curry gets hurt, we are screwed.

I'd be concerned if LSU's D was giving up 5 ypc in camp.

Hardly a unique position to be taking coming off 8 straight years of elite RB play

For the record, CEH, Curry, Brossette and Provens will do just fine.

Going into the 2011 season this is what we had on the roster at RB. Ended up being a good group but none of them turned out to be an elite college RB. We just used them all at what they did best.

Spencer Ware
Terrence Magee
Kenny Hilliard
Tabari Williams
Michael Ford

Eh idk

Vincent was pretty good. So was Addai. Both highly recruited

Spencer aware was a 5 star too. Hilliard set the LA High School rushing records

2007’s Stanley was stacked with talent too. Hester wasn’t Fournette but he wasn’t fricking Brosette either.
