A majority of the board thinks it would be a great hire. Really at this point anything less and the board might melt down. All we have done is talk these 2 up as a great hire.

Well the board has come up with a plethora of information on those 2 guys, I wouldn't mind them both.. if not CP, that DC from Penn St would be a good grab.
I'm really excited about next year and I'm hoping something clicks and the offense rolls next year. We could be good.

Shoop would be a great candidate, rumors is that we contacted him.
Vendables would also be a good coach but he would be very difficult to pull away from Clemson
IF we happen to get one of these the board may complain little bit but they would be great hires.
I also think they are better coaches than CP but it's Coach O that makes him better than the others. But I don't think it's necessary that he only comes with CP, but it seems like there is a good chance he comes in with CP.

You're right. If it were to be Shoop and we get Bebe too... :mindblown: At least to me. That's why I want CP. What makes CP a "homerun" hire is the possibility of O coming in with him.

we can't count out bebe coming with another coach. If brick leaves that needs to be filled, Coach O would fit into that role, and he probably be the first guy we contact. Even if we do the unthinkable and hire stoops.

Is the infatuation with coach O purely on his recruiting effects? Or is.he actually a pretty good positional coach who can benefits the team?

He's a tremendous recruiter which we desperately can always use, but more than that he's a hands on absolute motivator.
He can get his players fired up for sure.
