Fowler has 9 carries on the season when Alabama is not ahead by 15 or more points. Aka he's not doing shite until the game is put away. Aka he's playing late in the game in garbage time.

Turf Toe according to Chris Landry yesterday, but I still think he plays.

I've heard rumbling rumors that the OP made all this up. Lacy first had turf toe about a month ago and missed some time and saw some limited action in games. Played more against Tennessee and had the off week to recover. He's been practicing this week, everybody said he's playing, and as linked in this thread, Richardson has said he's 100%. The OP is full of it and messing with yall.

Magee is much the same as Fowler. I don't think anyone really considers him part of the depth at RB, though. He's 5th string.
Hilliard has 46% of his carries in garbage time (winning by 15+), compared to Fowlers 81% of his carries (winning by 15+).
Fowler will never start at Alabama at RB.

Turf toe is a bitch and I certainly wouldn't be upset if Lacy was out

losing a RB would not hurt either team in this game, even if bama lost trent richardson, lacy and fowler would both be capable of stepping in and filling that void, both teams are loaded with 4 and 5 star running backs... losing an offensive lineman would have more of an effect on the running game than losing a running back

Lacy and Fowler are just as good as our backups imo.

FWIW, most of Fowler's carries on the season have come in mop up duty. That guy is really not impressive IMO when you watch him play.

If I had to rank the RBs in this game it'd prob go:
Richardson
Ware
Ford
Lacey
Hilliard
Fowler

I also watched some practiced vids of Lacy running yesterday. Of the 4 shown: Lacy, Fowler, Sims & Hart, Lacy is running very gingerly in comparison to the others.

As good as our 5th string, sure. Lacy would be in the rotation at RB here. Fowler is just another body at RB, he will never start a game at Alabama.
My point is that we haven't seen Fowler do anything through his second year at Alabama. I don't really expect him to do anything there ever. Hard to put much stock in Fowler when he has gotten so little PT.

Montgomery made his arse quit before he even had the opportunity to make his arse quit.

I was partying with him this past Saturday and he's fine. He wasn't limping or anything, looked completely healthy. I made a remark to him about the winner of the game was likely going to win the BCSNCG and he extended his hand and said, "Thanks in advance."

Eddie Lacy (turf toe) still doing lots of watching during RB drills. Trent going 1st followed by Jalston, Dee Hart (black jersey).
TIFWIW.
