The ONLY reason Mett didn't start this year per Miles, "Body of work". Miles said himself that Mett is the best passer on the team. 1 more game and JJ is gone. Don't be surprised if Mett throws 3k next year.

I don't really believe in the stock will be higher. All of the scouts know how bad our qb play is. Plus NFL goes a lot by what you do at the combine. I do think it would pay for him to stay another year mainly bc I think the wr talent in the draft is better than what it will be next yr

Yes he has.

We are gonna see a huge impact with Mett if we can take chances on offense passing the ball.
You will once again see a balanced offense at LSU again.Man it will be great hopefully going for back-to-back

Take the money while you can. Being drafted in the 3rd or 4th in this WR class isn't bad, at all.
Don't get your logic here.
Do you realize the difference between being the 1st or 2nd versus being the 7th or 8th receiver taken in the draft overall?
Not just the amount, but the guarantees.

I said on here before, when my thread got axed, that he was leaving because he hates les miles. Supposedly the perception that miles is loved is only an external thing. He has tweeted before about his issues with a coach and this is why he is leaving.

He also said we had one of the best olines he has ever seen a few years ago. Guess how it turned out? One of the worst olines I've seen LSU have in at least 10+ years.
You should know by now not to take everything he says as the absolute truth. Naturally he is going to praise his QB. Not saying Mettenberger will be any worse than JJ...but he is just unproven.

No need to post that crap. Whether you think you know for sure or not, it's still rumor and not necessary.
Randle has the measurables and his skills will wow the decision makers at the next level. He knows what will happen.
If he goes, he will probably be more productive at the next level than he was here.

I seem to recall those comments just forgot in all the other rumour and innuendo

Did you see the pic of your brother yesterday. Or were you there?

Too many people post unverifiable information based on their supposed "inside" information. It's ok most of the time, but when you are speaking for a player, it's not ok. Randle is a smart guy with elite skills and will make the decision that is best for him.
If he leaves it will be hard simply because I wanted to see him blow up with an adequate passing QB. He is averaging 18 ypc despite the passing game shortcomings.

He will have been more proven then either JJ or JL were when they started. He supposedly beat Aaron Murray out for a job at Georgia and he led his JUCO team to a national championship. That's not the SEC, but it's probably not far from the MWC.

o yea man no doubt. I also would have loved to see him be more apart of this offense he is a great player!

If a player is a first round pick, I believe he should always go pro. If you are projected as a 2nd or 3rd rounder, it depends on your situation. If you need the money now, go. But if you don't, you'll likely climb to the 1st round if you stay and make a lot more. It's a tough decision for anyone, but if Randle stays and plays his way into a 1st round pick, he could potentially be making himself tens of millions in delayed salary. The key word there is "delayed". Also ,there's no sure thing you'll improve your draft stock.

How many offensive lineman are we losing? Also, I don't think Les Miles is going to throw the ball more next year even with Mett. It'll be similiar to the stats he was putting up with JL. I only say that b/c JL was completing a pretty high percentage of his passes, and Mett will also be spreading the ball to OBJ, RS, and Clement.

I'm sure this plays out in many kids minds...that and the thought of making money sooner than later.
