Aint watching but I bet he swung a another "pitcher's" pitch for the ground out. He's way too much of a free swinger. That's OK for midweek games and the lower echelon conference games, but against a team like Vandy who pitches and plays defense really well, you have to make the most out of your at bats...take a couple and battle until you get a pitch that you can drive. I don't know if he really understands his personal strike zone...what pitches he can really drive. The great ones know that maybe instinctively. I think he needs someone to coach him a little. The whole teams needs it really.
