Everyone is freaking out over very vague information tweeted by an attention whore..

It is ridiculous, 2 days from now nothing will come of this

Im not freaking out. Im being realistic. I would be freaking out if it were a player that I thought LSU needed.

Since we get our news from Twitter, Rabalais is now describing this as something that could cost Shep a game or two but nothing long-term:

Is this entire discussion based on Gilbleau's educated guess tweet? He needs to be held accountable for his allegations of insinuating Reggie Bush type activity.

has glen tweeted a retraction from his assertion this morning that Shep was held back to keep him from being asked about Lyles?

I think the very worst thing that can come from this is:

-Shep pays back the money
-Shep sits out the oregon game

Neither of these 2 things will effect the team as a whole very much. Shep is dispensable.

In a way Sheps lack of explosive/expected talent could help us out being that we won't lose much if he has to sit a game or two.

Well since he had to leave Media Days to handle personal/compliance issues Im pretty sure hes already guilty of something.

That was from Miles. Wow yourself.
that wasn't from miles, dipshit

the compliance rumors are from Rosetta and Gilbeau. Miles said it was personal issues.

quote:

People always think that we cando no wrong. Not the case. He wouldnt have left if it were a no issue.
it wasn't "no issue". it was an issue, as reported by Miles, a personal issue.

don't the coaches check where their playesrs live? this seems like a no brainer with all the crap that goes on - shame on our compliance dept. if this blows up - we deserve it!

Sitting out Northwestern and Western Kentucky sounds like a good punishment.

Theory: Rosetta & Guilbeau are auditioning for ESPN by seeing who can start the biggest baseless rumor.

We could pull the tOSU excuse and have him promise not to do it again and not let him play in the 2012 season...

at this point, i don't think it's baseless. best case scenario is that they are getting incorrect info from the same disreputable source
