For once, Glenn Guilbeau wrote a column that absolutely NAILED it.
Les talked all last year about playing both guys, and how we needed to. Once JJ came back this year, he said the same thing. Once Lee messed up, he stopped saying it.
He used a justification to play two in 2010 because he HAD to, because JJ was horrible.
He used a justification to play two in 2011 because he HAD to, because Lee was playing very, very well.
He stopped even bothering to use a justification after the Bama 3rd quarter, because JJ won, & our Defense & Special Teams covered for our offense.
He was COMPLETELY content to allow this to happen and was of the mind that he could win a national title while hamstringing ST & Defense & his offense by inserting a kid who stagnated us.
He took more sacks as a percentage of all of his drop-backs & threw more INT's as a % of all of his throws compared to the kid who was leading the conference in passer rating heading into Tuscaloosa.
We averaged fewer points, fewer plays on offense, & fewer yards through the air with JJ at QB. It combined to ultimately stagnate us. We limped into the National Title Game, & got smoked.

And, it needs to happen fast.
I think and believe that Miles and a few more knew we could not beat bama with JJ . Back to the regular season game , the 2 intercepts are not benching material , Miles just pulled J Lee out of the game to late . The 2 QB's would have and could have whipped Bama . OPr at least we could have scored 3 or 4 FG's , but a all run , with JJ trying to break one , could never Happen . It is not JJ's fault .JJ wanted to win , My thought is Les Miles needs to get out of COACHING . What will keep him from say next season if theLSU team makes it back to the Title game , keeping 3 or 4 players out of the game , again . If you do not use all your tools you will lose . Our Tigers did not have a chance to win this title game .That is a fact , ' . Miles doe not owe me a thing , to who ever made that post . Except to look for meaningful work .

One of the light bulbs in my kitchen just went out a little too soon. Its a GE bulb so im about to call Immelt to get some answers. hopefully he'll hold a press conference
