Are y'all rooting for the major unbeatens to win out (Ohio State, Clemson, Notre Dame)? Even if LSU manages to win out and lock in their spot in the CFP, I can't see Bama losing a second game. If that's the case, I feel like there is a strong possibility that Bama's annual bias would prevail again and get them back into the CFP, similar to last year. Then of course that could set up an unfortunate rematch scenario similar to 2011, where Bama would have revenge on their minds. I hope for LSU's sake the big upsets don't happen this season, even though I'm afraid they will as usual.

Rooting for a team doesn’t help them win. So I pull for LSU and if we win it doesn’t matter.

I'm looking for whatever scenario would possibly get LSU in at 10-2 no matter how improbable as a contingency.

I completely disagree with this line of thinking.

I am rooting for everybody ahead and slightly behind to lose.

Always.

I am hoping those schools go undefeated. That will be the only way to keep Alabama out of the CFP if LSU were to beat Bama in TS this year and go on to win the SEC title. If any of those teams stumble, the Alabama bias will indeed kick in and LSU would be in the same position it was in in 2011-2012...having to beat Alabama twice in the same season. If LSU ends up losing to Bama this season, I won't really care what those teams do the rest of the way.

Exactly. I have no idea why they want to root for unbeaten teams to win. Want them to lose as much as possible, even if it isn't likely.. I'm going to root for it..

If we win out, we're in

If we lose again, we're toast

Doesn't matter who else does what, honestly.

Can't we agree that our biggest desire is to see LSU win the natty this year? The best chance of making that happen is to keep Bama out of the playoffs. Bama won't get left out if those teams start losing.

This is true, but the OP is talking about 2 things: is getting in and Bama not getting it. The only way both of those things happen is for us to win out (we all agree on this) and for Clemson, Ohio st, and ND to also win out. If any of them lose, and Bama only has 1 loss, they will G_e_t_ the 4th spot.

We want OhioSt/Michigan, ND, Clemson and Texas to win out
Like others in here have said, LSU doesn't have anything to worry about with any of these teams. Win out and you're in. Lose and you're 100% out. Only way Bama gets left out is if there are two teams without a loss or a major conference champion with one loss (OU/Tex/Mich)
