like i said earlier to each his own. i found his show funny as hell. and he does tell it like it is, which is hard for some of you to fathom because there are other things out there besides LSU sports.

I don't like him for the simple fact that he's an arse. Plain and simple. He's an arse to everybody. If he really "told it like it is" I wouldn't have a problem with him, but he's in the entertainment industry. It's his job to be an arse.

I used to like this type of sports radio, but I've grown tired of the predictability of it all.

I don't like him because he is a know it all and acts like he is has so much knowledge about the game. In reality, he is like 5'5" and probably was the water boy or something in high school. He was shaking in his flip flops when "Chrissie" bowed up to him. I myself am 5'7" and played only limited football...I'm just a fan who liked to play football in the neighborhood everyday but I don't pretend that I know anywhere close to as much about the schemes as he does.

I don't have any problems with what Rome says, just the way he says things. I hate his style. All his coined phrases... I hate "clones" the worst. What I really are all the lengthy pauses.

You must not have an original thought of your own if you believe that! Rome is generations ahead of his time!

Rome is definitely over the top, I both hate and love that about him. Sometimes it is genius and sometimes it is garbage. But that is entertainment. He covers all sports so to get a prop from him like that works for me.

Rome is the best in the business IMO - I agree, I'm not that big on his pauses and his 7 minute radio breaks, but I get it b/c he does a 3 hour radio show and a sub-par tv show! Don't judge him from his tv show!

I remember years ago not liking Rome when I first started listening, but he grows on you and is witty as hell! The guy use to bash both Soccer and Nascar, and has come around to both sports over time, personally I could care less about those sports, but this just goes to show you how he has adjusted to stay on top!

Hopefully Rome has matured somewhat from his days as a want-to-be badazz. I only wish Everett would have pummeled him right there instead of withholding punches. Probably a dollar consideration.

Rome tells it like it is, he doesnt sugarcoat anything. Everything that comes out his mouth is the truth. Hes very knowledgeable in all sports and that cant be said for a lot of guys. Rome is the bomb.

Now S. Smith is a tool. Hes a moron. He couldnt hold Romes jock strap.

Really? or...maybe I just like it when a talk radio host who has a four hour show talks for more than two hours. Combine that with his smug condescending attitude and love of all things in big markets and fat contracts and I have no desire to listen to him, that is if I can tell if his show is broadcasting and not just dead air.

Granted, I like the whole teeth are chicklets and hair is lettuce thing but that's about it. The emails are the best part of his show and that's not his humor.
