UF signed 2 RBs last year and doesnt exactly run a very RB-friendly offense. They also have Teblow there who will take most of thier carries.
We didnt sign any RBs last year....I think the situation at LSU is set up nicely for a guy like Scott.

Long will probably be commiting on his visit in a few weeks that he's taking with his parents. There's a HUGE connection between Manuel and Deion. They are big time friends and talk all the time. Apparently rumors are Manuel is trying to talk Deion into coming to FSU. Deion has also been a life long seminole fan.

As for what the "experts" are saying on the USC boards about these guys:
Long= Baseball (And I've read quotes saying that is what he wants to pursue)
Scott= Colorado Buffs actually lead. I highly doubt he goes to USC. If in-state, my educated guess would be Cal. I think FSU, LSU and UF all have a legit shot though. However, he seems to really like the Canes out of all the Florida schools...
Walker= USC leads. He is from California, and it is also his Dad's favorite. Long and Walker are not a package deal. They are friends...

Pete has done a masterful job convincing all these top flight running backs at USC they are going to play. I do not know how he is doing this.
You are right that UF is not running back friendly for a top back and it shows as their backs so far have been average to above average. On the otherhand it would seem LSU and FSU would be this guys best bet to play early. I do not see anyone beating out Antone Smith but in football he could be injured on the first play and Scott could see himself playing very soon as FSU does not have another back at his level. They have good backs but no Smith replacement. The one thing this year FSU cannot afford is an injury to Smith.

im guessing 3*. No one has seen film and at this point, the only thing you can go by is his measurables. He's a 6'2 185 lb DB

Dandy rates him at 38 in LA but don't recall Dandy's interview on him. Any other scoop? Got to assume the Staff knows what it's doing so I give him..........4 stars!

he said on facebook he'll probably pursue baseball but we'll take him either way. He also has many quotes saying he hasn't decided yet.

probably so. But a good FSU visit + Manuel / Long in his ear = VERY GOOD for FSU.
