Kirby will move from Memphis to be the HC at state before much longer IMO.

We don't seem to be in the mix for the miss guys, and with victor, exum, Simmons, ect coming down the pipeline I think we'll be just fine on the recruiting trail.

Did he not get us Martin and Mickey?

Mickey was a combination of Johnny's time in North Texas combined with prior interest in LSU due to his brother playing fb here.

I'm not completely sure who took the lead on Martin, but I know Jeff Jones and Johnny are tight.

I believe Coach Jones was the lead on both. That said, I know that Kirby played a role in both. He just wasn't the lead on either.

and yeah martin was a team effort. was always going to have to be that way given his high profile. if you could dub anyone his lead it probably would have been johnny.

I remember the football game Mickey came in for his OV. The first 5 passes we threw were all to James Wright.

I'd say Miles gets an assist for Mickey's commitment.

Bring in Randy Livingston
He would be a solid hire that would crawl to Baton Rouge for the job

Let's get him, and then the HC at McNeese to be the bench coach. Then we could have an entire coaching staff made up only of people from DeRidder.
