If MSU loses this game, they go down 0 - 2 in the West with Alabama & Arkansas still left on the schedule.
MSU has no choice but to win this game to have any chance of going to ATL.
That will make them hard to beat, regardless of what LSU fans may think.

I'm so sick of hearing the reasons why "MSU will win the game".
MSU has a short week just like LSU does, and it's worse for them because they just played Auburn and suffered a few injured players.
This is as much a "must win" for LSU as it is for MSU.

IDAF whether Miss St can afford to go 0-2 in the west, they have no choice. Surely they've done it before. LSU is a better football team with better athletes at every position except QB. I am so sick of hearing about Miss st.

Off night home dogs are usually a problem for the visiting team but in the past 2 seasons it hasn't held true. In 09, it was $ in the bank .

since that person is not an LSU fan, he's probably think Miss State is a good team, playing at home for a "event" game. LSU fans take night games for granted, but for others in a special event, plus its on a Thursday, its gonna be a tough game.

I agree.... but that does nothing to change the facts:
-they cant match up talent
-depth
-coaching
-special teams
-and the x factor.... swagger/destiny these tigers believe they are on the way to greatness
