It is a bit ridiculous how far this has gone and the stupid reactions. Les will do the right thing if needed, so I don't see what people are worried about.
The thing they forget is the confusion all this is causing for UO in preparing for the game.
Geaux Lesticles!

coach Leach said, "why would Miles suspend his QB at this point? Nothing has been conclusive, and we all should withhold judgement on these players...we don't know what happened, so everyone needs to chill on what LSU should do or not do"
MIKE F'N LEACH!
Love him or Hate him, he is RIGHT!

So the media shouldn't have reported that JJ and friends were subjects of interest in a police investigation?
They shouldn't have reported that the police were asking them to come in for questioning?
They shouldn't have reported that their attorney wanted to delay the questioning until he could come up with his videos and timeline?
Don't blame this on the media.
Of course, they're throwing the word "allegedly" in there to save their asses. But it's irresponsible journalism. That was reported on ESPN about 4 times yesterday. Horrible.

Meanwhile..Sooners and Ducks are being arrested left and right and are not getting anywhere near the media hype.
4 OU players arrested since January..I have not been able to find anything that indicates what their punishment would be...and the crimes are much worse than a bar fight.
Why is no one in an uproar over Stoops?
To be fair, Oregon has taken a beating in the national media all off season. I guess you haven't heard but Oklahoma has now become a bastion of academic excellence and ethical conduct!

once again.. another fricking tard who instists on bringing me into this just because Im proLee.
I in no way think JJ should get in trouble or be suspended or arrested if he didnt do anything.
However I still think he isnt a good qb and Id like to see 12 get chance to lead this team.
Now with that said .. GFY.

Leach is the voice of reason
Leach also owns a law degree from Pepperdine, which ain't too shabby.

All of the BS has come from rumor, facebook and message boards.
You obviously didnt read the original reports.

Jacques Doucet needs to be held accountable here. first his bullshite "question" to miles last year and now his race to tell the world that JJ kicked a marine in the head.
how fricking irresponsible is this clown?
No kidding!!!!!! That tool can't wait to express his opinion rather than facts. I listened to Doucet and Songy the other day. WOW, you talk about to memebers of the media that already tried and convicted the football players.

12 had his chance. He needs to ride the pine, be a great teammate, and prepare for his next life as a coach.

Jack Arute and coach Leach rebuked the media hype machine and CFBfans on the LSU bar fight for allowing this ordeal to get out of hand.
This is just the way the media is these days. You know the saying, "It is easier to apologize than ask permission", well that is how the media treats any story. You will get alot farther as a reporter if you try and jump out in front of every story, even if your wrong, than you will if you wait and research the facts.
Alot of the douche bags on ESPN get paid a helluva lot more than the guys for Yahoo! Sports, but the ESPN guys do not do any investigative reporting whatsoever.

Agree with Leach - breaking the curfew is a breach of trust. I am confident the late night 20+ realize that about the 20th trip up the stadium stairs - at the end of practice!
Someone looking for an apology from ESPN? Don't hold you're breath. They no longer report the sports news. They create the news. Hope Leach wins big in his litigation.
Unsolicited book review: Leach's book, Swing Your Sword, a good read for any college football fan. Added two chapters right before printing addressing his dismissal & ESPN. Appendix includes docs & emails that nail ESPN & TT.

Unfortunately, the average Joe across the country probably doesn't listen to Rivals Radio.
True, but who cares what the average Joe thinks. OPnce the season starts, all this nonsense will fade away.

Arute is a cool guy. Knew him years ago when he covered the Iditarod for the ABC.
