Pretty compelling reasons......and they get us at home.

lose starting QB, Heisman RB, All-American WR, starting TE

that is a whole lot of skill players to replace

it looks like Bama is getting a huge free pass for have so little experience at the QB position

They're Bama.

They invented football.

1 - Stud oline

We beat them in the trenches last year, 225 yards rushing vs 102. The Oline will be solid, not 2009 good.

2 - Stud RBs

They have 1 proven stud, after him, they have Lacy who has had fumble and injury problems and is not proven in the SEC. After him they have a battering ram in Fowler, and that is it. Depth is weak, IMO. You're going to sustain injuries at RB and the RBs have to carry the O because the QBs are green and YOUNG. They dont have a JR rhodes scholar taking over at QB like they did last time they lost thier starter.

3 - Saban-led defense with elite talent available

No proven playmkers on the Dline. LBs are tops in the NCAA. Good secondary. The D is good, but it aint LSU 2003 good.

Meh

They will be good, but the play of thier D line and the depth at RB will take a toll on them. The LBs can't do everything, and they need a strong run game to help the QBs, but I dunno if they will get it. If SEC defenses stack the box can their QBs connect with their 6'0 WRs Maze and Hanks effectively? 10-2 is my prediction for them, 9-3 is certainly possible.

Why does everyone forget that Bama lost a 1st round OL as well. James Carpenter was the 25th overall pick in the last draft.

JUCO Aaron Douglas, who may have been his replacement, died in the offseason also.

Left tackle if I'm not mistaken. That's a pretty gaping hole.

Don't be surprised if we go to Bama and give them a good ole fashion beat to sleep, I think Arky is the toughest out of the 2!!

I want to play in New Orleans this year...and not for the Sugar. If we get to play in the big easy...it better be for everything.

Title game: Bama v. Sooners

This will only happen if there is no other undefeated team. But, if a team is 11-0 and Oka is 10-0, then Oka wll not play for the nc.

I still think we make the title game, but I would love to see this match-up. It would be great to see LSU put an end to the Boise State myth.

Pretty ballsy to predict a Boise State win over GA without Titus Young and many others. UGA will bounce back this year or the next, historically, it would be a bad idea to favor boise in this one.

I'm sorry, I missed the part where they were picking the UGA-Boise game? a 1 loss Boise team would more than likely be in the top 12 and get a BCS spot.
