The Miami regional is a tough one too. George Mason can swing the bats, they're like 23-6.

It's Miami, Florida, George Mason, and Bethune-Cookman

they're matched up with the Texas regional that Texas could win blindfolded wearing high-heels.

LSU's had a few regionals like that over the years. Not always, but it's nice when we do.

time out - they have uga winning the sec and then arkansas and lsu with higher national seeds. i know it's the tourney, but if they win the tourney, and finish 1st or 2nd regular season, it doesnt add up.

i dont think so

LSU got a higher seed even after Georgia won the SEC last season.

Of course Georgia shite on themselves at the end of the season and backed in pretty badly.

i meant who is G mason beating?

I dont put a great deal of stock in those gaudy numbers against a weak RPI

Miami will win that,, MAYBE lose one to Florida

their biggest achievement is sweeping UNC-Wilmington, who is the best team in their league. After looking at their schedule they haven't played anyone worth a shite. Colonial league will only get one bid more than likely and I would expect it to be Wilmington.

It's going to be really funny when the Big West, CUSA, and Southern Conference all have more teams in regionals than the Pac 10. Pac 10 is bad this year, worst that I can remember them being. It's also possible that the West Coast Conference gets more teams in than them.

I suspected as much,, that was my point,,
which is why the NCAA uses RPI so much in inviting/seeding

one things on the SEC if you run the numbers on how many teams can lose,, the SEs cant really do any better than ONE in the top 8 because of remaining games and SOMEONE has to lose those,, that will knock Georgia/Arky or LSU out of top 8

and UGa always screws the pooch

the BIG series for yall in Arky

If that regional is paired up with Rice's regional, doesn't this mean that Baylor is the 16 seed? Not sure if it's the same as in basketball...

not really, only the first 8 are seeded and then they are given geographic pairs. So you never really know what order 9-16 would be in, you just know who they are.

ETA: I had put 7-16 by mistake, I meant 9-16
