But I would ask one more, not that I expect a answer. What if this was your brother or father or son in this video getting shot and killed. What would be your reaction if people were sharing this video and passing it around

My reaction would be that there is a 0% chance that I’d be on the fricking internet browsing videos

Now let me ask you a question: if the story was about some random dude in Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc., would I be getting questioned like this? Would you care if I wanted to see the videos or not? Would you question my motives for wanting to see the video?

Life is crazy man. We’re on here yesterday arguing over whether he’s a 3 or a 4. We’re all blessed to be here. Hurt for his loved ones.

Wbrz just showed part of a video taken from a nearby vehicle.

Shows what appears to be Sims bouncing around fighting a group in the middle of the street.

I know gravy and those types love to start conversations, but will this be enough to "start the conversation" about black people killing black people. The topic he and his said have been ignoring and denying for decades.

I imagine some people, including family.. may want to see exactly what happened. I am not sure I would want to, but I can understand the want to see how this came to be.

I'd imagine the last thing the family cares about is who is sharing what right now, but I really have no idea. May also want it shared to attempt to catch the guy who did it. Could help speed up the process.

Just....why? And how? How did he end up in this situation?

The answers are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, I suppose.

Never said you had a motive now did. I just said I don’t understand wanting to watch it. If this was some random dude in Chicago or LA which I am sure did happen last night like they do most nights in them cities it wouldn’t even be on here so that argument doesn’t apply. This happen in our area / community to a public figure so that is a unfair comparison. Unless you are some psycho who scans the internet for murder videos, which I don’t think you are.

Ponchy, I get your questions and why they’re being asked, I’m just saying that it does no harm for people to watch the video

He's assuming you enjoy watching people die, simply because you want to see the video.. which is probably an inaccurate assumption.

I would like to see the actual fight, rather than the actual shooting.. The curiosity of wondering what all went down does not mean you have some sick enjoyment over watching people murdered. I can't stand when people resort to shooting other people so easily. Life is too precious.

As a young black male my father taught me when you’re doing good and lots of people love you there will always be a bunch that’s looking to bring you down . So stay looking forward and keep it moving no matter what . You can’t win every fight because someone won’t fight fair . Whoever gunned down this kid is a fricking hater . Crabs in a barrel.. it’s always been that way and it will stay that way until more people start raising their kids with some fricking common sense and good morales. Wayde had such a bright future and was an amazing student athlete . My condolences to his family . I pray justice happens.

Safe wager the shooter should have already been off the streets... and certainly not a legal gun owner/carrier.

The courts can do as they please to this POS shooter, and I still feel like enough justice wasn’t served

So senseless

RIP young man. Loved his fight on the b-ball court as was looking forward to seeing him improve. I’ve never regretted my decision to move away from Baton Rouge 7 years ago.
