That sucks. I only knew him from the game threads but he was a really nice guy and was always fun to talk to on the board.

Wow... this is horrible news. I began talking to Steven my senior year at state out of a dare in a thread on here. He didnt think anyone would call him if he posted his # and I did lol. He became a good friend who I frequently talked to. We had many conversations over the phone about random bs, but mostly about upcoming games. He often offered me a place to stay in Alabama if I just wanted to come hang out with him. He was a genuine good hearted person.
My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones...

Although I never met Steven his posts here convinced me he's the kind of SEC fan you would want to talk SEC football with over a couple of beers. Hell, he might have even convinced me to say Roll TIde.

Wow, 38 years old. Really sad. I hope his family had time to prepare themselves for their loss, if that is possible.
