Either change the rule or follow the rule.

I don't think weed should be illegal or a rule here.

But I do follow rules.

Espys

Who gives a shite about either, it’s just another divisive issue being used dishonestly to start trouble.

100%.

Its not like this was an unknown rule.

Its not like she didn't know she would be tested.

It was fricking stupid on her part. She could have just not smoked for like 2 months and she'd have a gold medal. fricking idiot.

Maybe it will be the best thing that ever happened to her and she makes something truly positive from it. Why not think positive? It’s certainly possible!

She has said that herself.

She had not smoked for far longer than that before her mother passed away, as I understand it.

fricking idiot.

You are an arse. Her biological mom had just died

quote:

(I'm) not making an excuse or looking for any empathy in my case, but, however, being in that position in my life, finding out something like that, something that I would say is probably one of the biggest things that have impacted me ... that definitely was a very heavy topic on me," she said.

"People don’t understand what it’s like to have to … go in front of the world and put on a face and hide my pain. Who am I to tell you how to cope when you’re dealing with the pain or you’re dealing with a struggle that you haven’t experienced before or that you thought you never would have to deal with?"

She went to say later
quote:

"I apologize," she said. "As much as I’m disappointed, I know that when I step on the track, I don’t represent myself. I represent a community that has shown me great support, great love, and I failed you all. So I apologize for the fact that I didn’t know how to control my emotions or deal with my emotions.

"I greatly apologize if I let you guys down, and I did."

A lot of people have made a big deal about it only being weed, yada yada. She never has. Never used race, never used anything, just said she screwed up.

I keep hearing people say “she took responsibility for smoking weed and breaking the rules”. That’s great and all, but that does not exempt her from scrutiny.

Not at all but it separates her from those who try to make their reason for doing so a reason they should be exempt from the consequences.

You can have a dick and balls and compete against girls but you can't have a vagina, THC in your system and compete against girls.

Never smoked it, huh?

Addictive brain chemistry is a whole different thing.

Weed, in and of itself...nope.
