Ok, I guess I'm wrong there.

I agree with this. I've also stated that.

Barring injury he will throw for 3000+ and 20+ TDs.

I say 3300 and 28.

Hopefully Brennan gets some meaningful snaps this year

You just haven't seen enough of him Nor seen him in a Spread/RPO type offense. You're in for a treat.

You saw him with next to no team practice, and in a third-rate offensive scheme.

I already answered this and I was wrong. I saw it a different way but I've been explained how it doesn't really "carry over" to him being here.

Ok?

Well, on a scale of 1-10, his experience at OSU was probably a 2. Just not a lot of quality snaps. And it's pretty inconsequential here

Hope Brennan gets some quality time this year

Me too. He's sort of the heir apparent.

It’s a myth that most of pass protection issues stemmed from poor OT play...

Watch the Bama game in full....many times the pressure or breakdown of protection came from the interior of the line...

Buckeye wants to run the narrative even though he himself has said no one has the right to dictate any narrative.

Ask him who said this:

You can express your opinion - but that doesn't mean you can dictate the narrative.

Like I said, he contradicts himself but then acts like he has done in this thread where he's trying to dictate the narrative. All he does is stir up garbage.

No. Williams was going through whoever lined up across from him like butter. even when he was being double teamed. It was tough to watch.

Wrong again, Dookie.

I saw him in the Ohio State championship playoffs, and a few regular season games. And as Joe says, "This is the offense I ran since I was 13 years old"." I have also seen all of his high school film - again, it is the Spread/RPO.

Senior season he threw for 4445 yds, 73.3%, 63 TDs, 2 INTs... and ran for 642 yds & 5 TDs

I'll take these stats for this year please.

I think Joe will throw at a 68% rate, rock bottom and 70%+ is in the range. And that 3500+ yards is likely and 3800 to 4000+ is in range.

And the Texas game will obviously tell us a lot. As you pointed out, their DBs are thin in experience (except for their 5-star safety - Freshman All-American last year). But they're loaded with talent. They are 4-star, 2 deep, with the exception of 1 3-star (a back-up at nickle).

I'm sure the Texas D is running against Spread/RPO practice squads every chance they get. So, 250+ yards passing against Texas would bode well for the '19 season, IMO.

OH BOY, You have gone and done it now.
You brought up Burrow’s high school stats and achievements.
Get ready you are about to get hammered for even mentioning high school statistics. People are about to point out that they are meaningless, are old history, they are irrelevant and some will probably say he played against crap defenses and that’s why he had good stats.
Look just be ready because I know from experience. Every time I have ever mentioned the Myles Brennan threw for over 16,000 yards, threw for over 165 tds passes, rushed for over 1000 yards and 20 tds and was an Elite 11 finalists in Oregon I get nailed for even suggesting that such accomplishments are any indication of Brennan’s ability to play QB at LSU.
