I remember 9 of 17 on 3rd down for FLA
And the luckiest breaks (missed tackles) the get those first downs
That won’t happen this year vs Pelini!

One moment sticks out though. Mullen burned us with his little cute speed option play dating back to the game in Gainsville. He ran it on 4th and Goal game on the line....K'Lavon stuffed it. frick Florida.
That play got my dick hard

I have always thought that the FLA game was the toughest game last year.

Our offensive efficiency that game was stupid

It was definitely the greatest CFB environment I have ever seen in person.
The electricity in the air was palpable. Everyone was confident but still unsure of just how good that team was and how they would perform on a huge stage.
After that game there was no doubt we were watching a great team.

I think Aranda's best trait was second half adjustments
I agree. And I always kind of wonder if he would call games early in a that would get the Offense to think and play a certain way just to take it all away in the 2nd half.
Tho his man press against Bama at the end of the game was not a good idea.

Aranda allowed Trask to look like a world beater. The first half scheme was garbage. Pelini would’ve shut that shite down no problem. FL had no running game and they still torched us somehow
and yet LSU won by 14.
Aranda held the future 1st round pick on the other best team to 0 passing TDS.. and 1 of 11 on 3rd down conversations. Also he held Etienne well under 100 yards.
Tell me who else has done that to Clemson?
LSU’s defense was awesome when it mattered most and I give Aranda all the credit.
I look forward to Pelini holding a&m to 7 points, Georgia to 10, OU to 28 (garbage late scoring while up big) and Clemson to 25.
My beef is with people saying Pelini will be better, but Aranda was incredible when it mattered most. I don’t get how anyone can knock Aranda and simply assume Pelini will be better.
Tell me this. Would it really make people more happy to have a top 5 defense that proceeds to gives up more points when it matters most or vice versa? Of course why not both and why can’t Pelini be both. I just don’t get the constant trashing of Aranda, especially in games that we won by multiple TDs (vandals, ole miss, florida) how about give Florida a little credit??

Grantham has no answer on d
Mullen has always been a great playcaller
Defense will be their problem
