If he played for Oklahoma St. or Arkansas, he would be a first team all-american. He is that good. I am real glad that he is a Tiger, but I feel sorry for him sometimes.

I agree 100%, but he dug his own grave when he picked LSU. Obviously he didn't know that Jordan Jefferson would be this incapable of simply completing passes, but it is what it is.. He is extremely talented. I'm glad he's only a junior this year because he'll have the opportunity to play with Mettenberger next year (if he doesn't leave for the draft after this season). I think RR could put up monsterous numbers with a quarterback like that under center..

Thats tough. I did 27 hours one semester, and about killed myself, with 4 finals in one day. He is going to have to take alot this Summer to do that IMO.

You can't catch it if you have a QB "heaving at him". Jesus

Ruben still has 2 years and will go down as the 3rd greatest receiver in Lsu history behind reed and bowe. I am a huge fan of randle and I am
Glad he chose Lsu even though so far it has not been the best fit for him. If we win a nc this year all is forgotten.

Sometimes that's the case. But its Hard to get noticed with JJ at QB. Tolliver also suffered from QB, or lack there of..

Mett would work wonders for RR though.

Yeah, if he was in a better Pro-style offense with a good QB, he would shine. That said, he needs to step up and take advantage of his opportunities, and get more consistant. We need him to be the man, this year.

so, you want him to throw it and catch it too?.

Rueben wasnt the number #1 last year. Most of JJs passes are going to go to him now. Remember his progressions suck. Rueben will have plenty chance to shine.

Nope. TT was the main target last season. He was just not elite wr. Some receivers qbs make them look good. Some make their qb look good. Hopefully rueben will make JJ look good.

U can have Randy Moss at wide Receiver & it still wouldn't matter with our QB! Cant wait till this season is over & we can get a descent QB.

I'd prefer our QB play not descend anymore than it has.

Rueben Randle reminds me alot of Anquan Boldin. He gets open and is a physical reciever that can make the first dude miss.
all LSU receivers are physicall going back to the Wendell Davis days, I don't know if it's thing taught to them because all are physical with CB's blocking as well as making them miss. D Bowe was a monster and Doucette, Davis, Reed, I can go on were physical freaks. Lafell laid a CB out, and Toliver will make sombodies team.

but to me I think Randle is a combination of Boldin and Fitzgerald, he can smooth one minute and pysical the next. If LSU had a QB to throw the ball no doubt he'd go in the first round.

...not really. He squandered his opportunities by and large. Plenty of drops, etc. As has been said, these kids get tons of exposure and compete at the combine and pro days...Tolliver was NOT even drafted. What does that tell you? It was not all on the QB in his case.
