He will have his opportunity of being the #1 receiver this fall. But Reuben will more than likely not be a first rd pick. More 3rd or 4th. He's a playmaker though. I really look forward to him returning kicks.

Reuben Randle reminds me alot of Anquan Boldin. He gets open and is a physical receiver that can make the first dude miss. He isnt a speed guy thats gonna consistently beat guys deep (even though he can), but he will be a very solid possesion receiver that will pick up 10-20 yards and move the chains.

RR is anything but a possession WR. People would see that more if he had the opportunities. He has first round ability and if he has a highly productive season this year, I can see him leaving early.

From what I have seen of Reuben, I wouldn't agree. I can see him easily becoming a first rounder, but not yet. He definitely isn't a speed receiver that fly's deep every time. He has proved he can go deep though as he did against us. However I dont get why you say it as being a possession receiver is a knock against him. As I said he reminds me alot of Boldin who is a big viewed as a tough grind it out possession receiver, but the dude has gone to multiple pro bowls and is easily one of the best receivers on his NFL team (I know that doesnt say much cause of the team he's on).

Yeah, he does seem to drop alot of balls.

Because he isn't a possession WR. If he had more opportunities, you'd see how freakish he is. He is deceptively quick for a WR his size and also he is faster than you think. RR was wide open a lot last year on deep routes but when a QB throws 10 yards behind you, naturally a DB is going to glaze all over you.
He hasn't even really shown being a possession WR the few opportunities he gets, so I don't see where that came from. He doesn't just make one person miss, often times it is two or three.
RR is the best WR to come out in LA since Wayne. He is too talented to be anything but a 1st round pick by the time he is done here. He is the complete package, size, speed, power, quickness. Is he great in all those areas? No, I don't think he is. Is he a freakish athlete like Green was? No. Is he physical like Julio Jones? No. But what he lacks at being great at, I think he makes up with versatility. He just needs a QB to give him more consistent opportunities. RR is a very fluid athlete. He will breakout this season, book it.

I think Randle is probably the most talented player on the team. Given the opportunities, he will prove it IMO

I know this kid is an animal in the "Bic cat" drills. I feel sorry for any D-back that has to block against him.

How many yards passing did JJ have last year? Thought so.

Makes you wonder what people are actually watching. " Well, RR isn't that great, he only had 500 yds receiving last year."
Well shite, the starting QB had less than 1,500 yds passing. Randle wasn't even the first look and rarely had a chance to make an impact. Not his fault, at all.

I can't say a lot on this but you guys know noone is as hard on him as I am.
What he has done this off season has been tremendous. No you don't hear about it and probably won't because that's just how he is, keeps things close bý nature.
But I will be very surprised and shocked if he does not break out this year.
The work he has put it and the people he has put it in with would amaze you.
I've been looking for reasons to give him a hard time and they have been hard to come by.
His attitude has even changed which I thought would never happen. Will it carry over to the field? We will see. But I have to tip my hat to him. If it does not happen it won't be because he did not put the work and effort in.

that's awesome to hear. hope he goes nuts this season.

Good to hear DMitch! This guy has it all, just needs the focus to achieve it. I'm sure he struggles with the QB situation as much as anyone, and it has to be hard to keep that focus up.

Now, there was 2 WR taken in the first rd of the 2010 NFL draft, and 3 taken in the first round of 2011. Lets go out on a limb and say 5 are taken next year. Four obvious picks pops out at you. Justin Blackmon, Alshon Jeffries, Ryan Broyles, and Childs. That leaves one spot left for RR, which Michael Floyd will obviously get, but if not, you still have names like Jemaine Kersh, Criner from AZ if he's healthy, Fuller from aTm, and maybe even Bumphis from MSU, Posey from Ohio State, and the list goes on. Thats what i'm basing it off of. Never said he didn't have talent. But he's not a sure first rounder like CalvinJohnson, Julio, or AJ.

dmitch, can say if they like the new offense? Or at least more then crowton's system?
Posted on 7/3/11 at 6:04 pm to 7thWardTiger
I doubt Reuben declares, next year, but we will see how the year goes, and what the new rules in the NFL amounts too.

Camden honestly I have tried to get him to say something since he's been here and he only says oh its cool, iys gonna be alright.
Dreaux they seem to like it but they seemd to like the last one as well.
And unless he gets over 50 crdit hrs this year he won't be going anywhere even if he wants to.
