Kind of off topic, but I remeber in the late 90s someone put up posters that Ron Jeremy was running for SG President. They billed him as the "Long Shot" who was "aiming to please."

I haven't seen any evidence to suggest otherwise. Each time I was stopped going into CEBA by one of the SG candidates, I would ask them why they are doing it. After sifting through the BS campaign speach stuff, 7 times out of 10 they would admit that they wanted the experience to prepare them for thier political career. The other 3 out of the 10 were hoping that it would help make their name to be more recognizable (essentially resume building). Not one of them said it was to serve the student body and to improve the university.
If you have other evidence, then present it. All I have heard is "No that's not why they do it." Prove me wrong.
