so none of the teams that play today or tomorrow have a big game next week? we need a tune up game before big sec road game even on a short week

Ohio Stat play Hawaii
Tech Plays Furman
Marshall Plays Ohio
Purdue Plays Indiana St.
So unless you consider Marhsal Ohio a big game i would say no. they all have fricking cupcakes for a reason.
I would take rest and practice over a tune up every time.

Any word on why they couldn't have kicked this thing off at 11 am today?
I think the tune up is much more beneficial than an extra day of rest.
Harris once again will have to start on the road in the SEC at night. This time he gets the added retardation of adults ringing cowbells.

McNeese could have gone home, slept till 9 and been back for a 2:30 kickoff.

I wanted to play too, but I don't want to play Monday, maybe if we had a BYE next week
