they have a lot of coaches who have no desire to go the NFL.

Any chance Jorge Muñoz can step up and take his place?

Brady's leverage if he wants to go will never be better than right now.

Hope they at least 2x his new LSU salary whatever that was.

You take that season for sure, every time.

But man, what a blow. There is no one out there like Brady. We should have made him the OC and paid him top dollar, unless he was never going to take it anyway.

Brady and Burrow gone in the same season...

So much butt hurt in this thread.

This is a product of winning, happens at Alabama every year.

Plus, nfl coordinators work WAY less than college coordinators, its a much better job.

Good luck to coach brady.

Better restructure that deal ASAP. He has an offer from Oregon on the table.

1. not many OC left to pick this late

It’s not completely uncommon for coaches to jump ship late or leave new jobs for another opening.

One magic season. I thought he said he was a Tiger. I hope this deal curdles before he goes away.

t was a helluva year...wish we'd have him for just one more.

But Congrats to him. Well deserved. I'm not even upset.
What he did for LSU football, unreal, and gave us a Ride we'll never forget.

Agreed, he has had a profound impact on our program.

Now, next coach up. Keep the machine GEAUXING!

He learned a lot in one year with the Saints. Gotta think Coach O and Coach E learned a lot too this past year.

I hope he doesn’t flame out in the NFL and end up at bama in a few years.

This. Our offense last season was far from dynamic.

We made a low ball offer. We didn’t even try to pay the man his value.
Our offer was smoke and mirrors. He was already taking the job. Don't blame him.

There’s absolutely no way to know this.
