Not to mention, the BRPD is in a tight spot. High profile cases like this are under so much scrutiny. If they don't investigate enough, they are accused of sweeping under the rug. If they investigate too much, they are accused of blowing it out of proportion.

Any mistake they make is amplified. I assume they want to make sure they have crossed all I's and dotted all T's for whatever their next step might be.

I can't believe the resources they spent on this. Not good! Going to be a LOT of criticism on the police after this!

You keep bringing up useless bull shite. That has no point or merit being brought up here

I'm sure there are investigations for every murder that are much more extensive than this.

JJ is in trouble , and all the sunshine pumpers need to accept the fact.

There are more then enough witnesses and videos. That parking lot was crowded. Obtaining a search warrant to check clothes from a week ago and assuming doing DNA testing on is a waste.

I don't think they had practice today.

My question about this whole situation is, are they really going to give whoever did it five years and fine him $2,000?

No. The worst possible outcome is that the kicker is going to plea down to simply battery and get one year probation.

You have zero clue of what they are actually looking for. It may be something totally different.

I do think the brpd should do their job but I wonder if they have ever gone this far before for a bar fight thats all. I dont think that football players should get special treatment but I also dont think they should be made an example of.

Do people actually know how significant the injuries are or are they just speculating?

I just don't know what the alternative would be. I mean, if they thought there was evidence and JJ wasn't being forthcoming, what else are they supposed to do? Drop the charges just because it was a barfight?

That seems sort of silly too.

your right, But its all they have to cling to. Broken Vertebre are not that big of a deal. Its a little hard to determine if the fight even caused them. It could have already been started and the fight just finished it. Its hard bones to break

BRPD is doing all the investigative work to CTA's. I would imagine SI and CFT will be down to put in their two cents. Wrongful injury lawsuit in the making. Plantiff could probably care less about criminal charges, civil damages is where its at. BRPD will offer deal when they have an airtight case and defendant will plead to a lesser charge (misdemenor). From there, civil proceedings will start. Money Money Money IMHO

BRPD did not use this much manpower or spend this much time on the case and it is still unsolved.

Most murders go unsolved for one very simple reason. Witnesses won't come forward because they don't want to "snitch".

I believe that a person's injuries might be very unique and specific to that particular person. So take that shite out of here dickcheese.

For saying that a teenager lacks enough real world experience to have a valid opinion on the situation?
