No, idiot. He was supposed to give everybody a heads up two weeks or more ahead of time. Ya know, like a responsible adult.

Work on that reading comprehension, Les.

That wasn't the point of the post. Obviously he's going to get paid and protect his body. Everybody gets that. Don't blame him for taking that route. Just blame him for the way he got there.

It's possible for the move to be the best thing for him, yet also be a very inconsiderate and disrespectful way of handling it. It can be both. Choose to acknowledge or ignore the second part if you want, but it's true.

Every rep he took with Myles Brennan is a rep someone else could have used to get better.
I don't blame him for the decision to stay, or his change of heart to go, but I do think his timing stinks.
This would have made sense to everyone 2 months ago, but now it's got to be about $, agents, fear.
Buy him a policy like Peyton Manning at UT.

College draft insurance is a complete scam.

And he can still get that same insurance

Holy smokes. Don’t do this to me Chase!

Brennan can’t be doing well in practice.

Hey Ja’Marr,

I hope Gilbert comes in and destroys your records as a freshman.

If Arik does that then he should pull a Maurice claret

End of the day who expected Chase to have a season like he did let alone JJets or Burrow... He and the rest of the team gave us the best college football season ever... Let’s not be mad at the young man for making a decision that he has to live with... Just like he stepped up big so can Marshall, Racey, Trey, Boutte, Kirkland, or Arik who is being compared to Megatron... If we all agree on one thing is that LSU reloads every year and this year is no different... Players will step up and contribute... No one is to blame for a young man making a decision... And coming into college Terrance Marshall was the #1 WR coming on campus not Chase...

Just got word there was a legit concern about a drop in production bc of the QB position.and what practice is bearing out currently hence the late opt out , Myles looked great in 7 on 7 but when the pass rush was involved looked like a totally different guy, the courting of Fields was very real, Max Johnson looks like a baller, oh and the defense looks elite under Pelini so far.

Selfishly, I want to watch him as a tiger... but, as a man, I can't blame him for looking out for his stock. This season has the potential to be a shite sandwich and not even finish.

Why risk top 5 draft status for a maybe and nothing.

Great tiger while here, and anyone wishing this guy anything but the best of luck is a selfish prick
