Kind of embarassing for a players parent to be screaming and acting like that.

That man is one of the best Dads in the program. He would take his shirt off his back for anyone. He understands what suiting up for LSU baseball is all about. He bleeds purple and gold.
This is like the funeral home finally asking family to leave so they can complete the burial. You eventually gotta head to the pot luck.

Society is filled with too many people that don’t know how to comport themselves properly.

quote:Yes it is. A parent who should know the process and see your kid at the appropriate time not publicly lash out. Much could be said here but in the end, people are all different and someone like this will do it again and never learn nor cares about showing some class representing a baseball program like LSU. Dont care who the dad is, its not an excuse for such classless behavior.
sad look for the progrum

LSU is full of trash fans which helps explain the downvotes on this site. Behavior like this isn’t surprising.
I’d say trashiest fans in the SEC easily.

The event staff guy that diffused the situation told the parents they were fine to stay and gave the families and players all the time they needed. What you don’t see is the event staff guy that started the mess. He was the reason the police were down there in the first place. Both that guy and the officer had to swallow their pride while the parents and players had their moment. PS this had nothing to do with lighting
While it did get heated for a minute, everything was fine and this was a non-issue in the end.

This typical reaction to a small clip of what happened and no knowledge of what led to this.
So quit judging when you don’t know the whole truth

It’s typical around here. Judge immediately about someone else’s actions while at the same exact time not knowing a fricking thing about what actually happened. Group think and faux outrage.

Escorted out after the event staff says that he can stay? Under what grounds?

There is really no point in explaining this here. If you were close to the situation, also do not be offended by what you read.
Those who immediately jumped to criticize and form their own conclusions will not change their mind regardless of anything you present. A lot of the comments are from the dumbest posters this site has to offer. They are lashing out because LSU had a bad season. I 1000000% guarantee you, if LSU was on its way to a national seed that EXACT video would have the EXACT posters who are shitting on the dad, shitting on the guard instead.

Exactly this.

I saw plenty enough in the video. A normal parent of a player, would be extremely low key and abide by all rules. In this case, we are dealing with the opposite. In this case we have a parent who thinks they are entitled because their kid is a player.
It is what it is. I can't and will not defend this type of parent making a scene for something so petty.
frick that guy.

Case in point.
You should relax about things you have no true detail about. Life’s too short to be so offended and worked up all the time.
