We need to start a website petition. Most of the SEC would sign it. Bama grad making important calls for SEC office needs to be stopped.

Should be the next billboard

They'll just replace him with another Alabama Community College Grad

Can you imagine if the Big 10 office in Columbus staffed with Ohio State grads had suspended a Michigan player for the first half of the OSU/Michigan game for a questionable targeting call? Oh wait, there is no way in F the rest of the Big 10 would allow such an office to be located in such a place.

Honestly, I am sure there are tons of qualified officials who had not attended Alabama or an Alabama fanboy. Do you think Bama fans would accept an LSU alumn in the same position? No fricking way Saban would allow that.

Evidence of collusion plus conflict of interest. This would not fly in any respectable organization.

It's a ridiculous conflict of interest at a minimum, and in reality appears to be a full blown Gump machine operating in broad daylight--zero fricks given, catch us if you can.

No one with ties to the SEC should be in the SEC office. A complete conflict of interest.

If there was an LSU grad that was considered to be one of the premier refs in the nation, I would have no problem with him being Shaw's successor.

So should Herb Vincent get fired? He is an LSU grad and was the SID at LSU for years.

Serious question.
Who decided that Steve Shaw was one of the premier refs in the nation? ~~ Who. decided?

Other officials, coaches, and administrators around the country. He's still widely respected and is why he became the head of the NCAA rules committee, or whatever they call it.
He officiated 2 BCS national championships.
Is also the head of officials for the Sun Belt.

Probably his predecessor at the SEC office...or Rogers Redding.

Fine, let him direct another conference’s officials.
