LSU had no money problems, it has a spending problem with layers upon layers of support staff who do little to nothing. I like LSU and Yes JBE did threaten Football

I have an idea. Maybe they could quit renting all the office space that they don’t even use to the tune of millions of dollars from Gayle Benson and use that money for the crime lab. It’s a huge difference between not being able to fund something and not even trying to fund it . But I guess it’s hard to give the Saints money to keep them in NOLA and not let the taxpayers know what’s going on

Well go ahead and write your State Rep and Senator and tell them to make that proposal next legislation session, assuming what you said is factually correct. And FYI I am not saying you are wrong, I just don't know if what you are saying is accurate. Can you provide a link to a source that confirms the rental agreements you are referring to.

Yep. He gave up on being a gov. near the start of his second term. He had lot's of political backing and potential to do lots of great things for this state. Instead, he pushed all of his chips in for a run for president and said fck it. Even made stupid deals with the long time corrupt dumbass political figures in the state.
But this is why we need these kind of threads on the politard board.
