Skips LSU is the reason college baseball is on TV as often as it is now days. LSUs dominance and style opened the door for a boutique college sport to be mainstream. That’s how big we were and now we’re only relevant because of that run. Instead of taking advantage of what we created we’ve fallen behind programs that shouldn’t be in our league and that’s what the pumpers refuse to acknowledge. Every season this clown is allowed to keep failing is just another example of us willingly giving the throne away.

How old are you? Were you alive at the end of the Smoke era? I guess not. I am old and remember life before Skip. This is not the worst thing ever. We should be better...we should be able to scrape out a hit against OU.

Tennessee is undefeated....however theyve played no one. So ill reserve judgement on them.

Didn’t they beat former #1 Texas Tech, Houston, and #25 Stanford in consecutive days? Second best ERA in the nation.

Just in2017 we played in the CWS final

In 2018-2019, the basketball team won the SEC.

In 2020, the football team had the best college football season ever.

These are the best of times.

If LSU decides to move on from CPM I want them to go after Tony Vitello. I seriously think he is the next great college baseball coach and probably the top guy of the realistic guys they can get.

We’re a football school now!

Until we lose in football and win in baseball again. Then back to baseball school!

Beach volleyball school man. LSU football hasn’t done anything of note in 2 months. The game may have passed Coach O by.

You are absolutely right. I was here and did have season tickets in Skips first year. A year when as a promotion to build the program in the mold of the Hurricane programs he came from he sold us 4(2 adults and 2 Children) season tickets for $36 for the beginning of his journey. It was some of the best times of my life and prior to that LSU was basically an intramural program forced to play in the SEC. This is no where near that bad. This is no where near the depths Smoke took us, but this is unacceptable for LSU baseball and if it continues the "soft one" will be looking for a job. Too many people in this town are pissed about where we are and I think the anger is justified. Paul won't be fired this year, but he will have a problem this off-season if things don't drastically turnaround.

Tennessee beat #1 (at the time) Texas Tech and #25 Stanford the weekend before last. Other than that, they've played no one but not many teams have played other good teams

Tennessee has played well pre-SEC for several years now, though, so I'll wait and see if they're for real
