They still aren't even there yet. That was just a small glimpse of what this team can do. I'm not so sure that Kim didn't just pull Angel to let the rest of the team gel and to let them figure out their positions without everything going through Angel and to let Angel see that she doesn't have to be what she was last season. That the team is fully capable without her. There may have actually been nothing to it. Small likelihood of that of course, but it is possible.

They definitely are. We don’t know what caused her to be out for those games but she took it in stride, supported the team through it, and came back strong last night.

This team is realizing that they are dominant when they work together and each is finding their rolls on the team. Coach Kim Mulkey got this. I remember Dale Brown had this same problem but couldn’t manage great players becoming a team. Coach Mulkey GOAT.
