Remember when Kelvin Sheppard was the "other" #11?

Dude has come on strong this year.
I remember when people thought it was RP on kickoff teams because they both wore the same number.
It's good to see a player develop well as he gains experience and becomes an upperclassman.

The LB play is the biggest improvement on this team this year.

No, more like "Why is RP on the kickoff?"

Yep, that Georgia HS has done very well for LSU. IMO, Riley is as good as they come in the SEC at LBer and Sheppard is making great strides and is only a JR.

Heck, now that I think of it, Lafell has come a long way too. Seemed like he was dropping everything the first year he played. Now he looks like a good shot for playing on Sundays.
I just like to see that there is development of these players over the course of their careers.

He was good last year too. 2nd on the team in tackles in 2008 & 1st on the team in 2009.

that shite was so annoying a couple of years ago... every single game some dumbass would be talking about RP being on kickoff

Yeah I remember that. 11 has been playing his butt off this year. It's a relief to know he'll be the starting MLB next season with Ryan Baker playing weakside.

chavis can coach linebackers, sho nuff. also, i like the improvement of our secondary. in fact, i like our defense and the improvement they have made since game 1.

Me, too. I'm pretty certain Verne & Danielson STILL are confused, but the folks in the truck bail them out.

NO fecal matter there! One of numerous asinine statements out of that Ranter...
